Antara Fasi & Para Du’at

Today we went through from program flow till the skills required for the orientation facilitators. What was interesting is that not most of the skills, but all of them are needed for Da’wah Fardhiyah and are essentials to being a da’ie. I’ll just share the point and give out a brief elaboration in a way that du’at can benefit from it insyaAllah.

To be a facilitator one must have:

1. DESIRE
As da’ies, if you have no desire to preach, to meet and to urge..than it’ll be a set back for da’wah.
2. INTENTION
Like usuall..check back the first hadith from mattan arbain (40 hadith by Imam Nawawi).
3. WILLINGNESS
Willing to be put under pressure, willing to work day and night…
4. VOLUNTEER SHIP (kesukarelawanan..)
We must volunteer to continue the workings of Ar-Rasul saw..because if not us, then who? Allah will probably replace us with a better generation that will love HIM and HE will love them back.
5. TOGETHERNESS
Working within the jamaah..”berat sama dijinjing, ringan tawarkan diri..”
6. TIME MANAGEMENT
Huhu..i my self still need to work hard on this. Its not much of a fuss, cause some of our madu’ understands the chaotic life we’re living, but that’s no excuse. Where is our role to give good qudwah?
7. CREATIVE
Tackle our madu’ with all the ways we can. “tackle the situation, jangan tackle orang..kad merah~”
8. ALWAYS READY
Be prepared. Use time wisely.
9. KNOWLEDGABLE & INFORMATIVE
If you have nothing, what else could you give but just plain nothing?
10. PATIENCE
It will pay. Either here or in the akhirah insyaAllah. And we all pray for that better ending.

broQ: alhamdulillah, esok malam dapat pelepasan. nak gi usrah sebenarnya..usrah kan wajib!?

Minggu Induksi Fasi Orientasi

well, today we've officially started our induction program for facililators of the June intake UNITEN orientation. all i could say is it'll be 5 hectic days from now on. make it 4. this will be a nice opportunity to get my engine started for the 'hunting month'..better said as 'open season'.

GG's back. we're in the same room now. alhamdulillah, with his presence insyaAllah, i'll be in good bi'ah. a partner who can always remind me to obligate myself to HIM. everyone will need some kind of catalyst, and for me, it'll be GG for the time being. hahaha.

so, anyone reading this and know anyone who would either be interested with usrah (meaning dah di DF kan), or have good islamic values and potential, or even just happen to know that he/she will be entering UNITEN (putrajaya/bangi campus), please inform me:

via SMS or email. better be SMS cause i'll get it directly.

SMS format, if possible be in this form:
1. full name
2. phone number
3. previous school
4. tarbiyah background (no/yes; if yes do elaborate)

type the above <1.2.3.4.> and send it to 013 3266832 (qayyim hafidzi-UNITEN, 3rd year mech eng)

why am i asking or being bothered? because islam is not a religion for individuals. thus i'd like to share to beauty if it and to earge others to treasure and value it. insyaAllah, through the usrah system which will be conducted via weekly sittings, monthly outdoor programs and other fun activities will trigger our understandings of islam, making us better muslims and work together towards bringing back the khilafah.

well then, done for tonight.

Ya Allah, berkatilah usaha ini, perteguhkanlah hati ini, istiqamahkanlah diri ini untuk terus meniti jalan menuju jannah.

Kearah pembentukkan diri

Last week I bought a little book ‘manajemen tawazun’..RM8 je, so you could just imagine how thin the book is (still in process of building consistency on reading books). Best thing was, I bought it from kak MJ & bro Awang’s mini store during a forum on ‘Hak Wanita Dalam Perundangan Islam’, held by Wanita JIM DHL & Sepang at PKNS Bangi.

Before I bought the book, I sat down and had a little chat with akh Awang (Fadhli) about my lousy problem on ‘how to finish reading books’. I’ve asked many brothers before whom are known for their crazy ability to finish reading. For me, its either I’m stuck half way, and some cases loosing the unfinished book or dozed off and forgot where I last stopped. Same answers I I get each time..hehehe..what else would I seek for from the same question!?
  1. Start of with small books…done this. Still, doesn’t help much as I really2 need to get on with some serious matters. And these serious matters are only discussed in BIG BOOKS!! Hohoho
  2. Go on with interesting topics. Topics that we’re eager to know on. Topics needed most especially for us being daies.
  3. Form up a reading group so that we can discuss important details from the book. It’ll help motivate us to continue reading as we know that we’ll be left behind if we’re not consistent in reading. Make it a part my usrah’s project like ‘sesi bedah buku’..hmmm. best~
  4. Motivate yourself that only through reading will you obtain knowledge. “one who has nothing, can give nothing” so? To have something, I MUST READ.
Abi also started reading around my age. 21. but he really like reading since his school days. While in EC, abi was called ‘The Book Eating Jaws’..just imagine that! But it really pays off, I can just ask him about anything, and he’ll come up with the answer just with a tap of a finger. If not, he’ll head to our hime library and search out for the book that has the answer. We’ve got alotta books stored, some weren’t even read by abi, but he knows his books~

Inspired? Yep..motivated? huhuhu..

I really ought to get myself reading. Even ‘manajemen tawazun’ isn’t finish after 3 weeks of buying it. (o_0)

Ya Allah, kuatkanlah diri ini untuk terus istiqamah
