astaghfiruLlah, a burden to shoulder..failing my subject was really a big test on me. Allah, you have given me so much, and its Your right to test your servants to see whom really have faith in you. i've committed so much sins in the past, so many time i've forgotten You, taken You lightly..and its only fair of whats happened to me, to remind me of my doings.

having to know i'll loose my scholarship next semester, really puts some thinking in me. fuuh! live goes on. either we like it or not. we choose the path we want. and seems like i've choosen mine. to loose that scholarship..tambah pulak la beban umi abi nak cover perbelanjaan aku, kereta aku pakai lagi, hostel, macam-macamlah. hutang abi aku tak bayar lagi~ (-_-!)

back to my F grade for MASB113 (Malaysian Studies), the night before, i was not doing much of usnudzon (having good thoughts of others). infact, i kept blaming the lecturer for maybe wrongly keying the grades, or miss placed my assingments or just doesnt like me at all. he was quite a troublesome and fussy lecturer as he demanded all assingments to be handed colour printed plus big pictures. he also doesnt teach much like for the 2 hours classes, 1 hour if for coffe talk, 30 minutes of his depressed feelings on the class and the last 30 minutes is our lecture. ngahahaha! i usually sleep during the entire class although i always sit amongst the first row or 2nd or 3rd row. siap ternganga lagi kadang-kadang~

but i was totally wrong. he was kinda anoyying. but he tried to help me when i came to see him this morning. and it turned out that i was the one to be blamed for the F grade. i wrongly missed a zero in my ID number. instead of ME078047, i wrote ME07847..there was only 1 paper left on his desk unowned. and my marks were without a finals. thus making me fail. the unowned paper went from one section to the other.but the other lecturers say its not from theirs. the paper scored 40/50..thats big A. alhamduliLlah, it turned out the paper was mine..hahaha. cuai giler aku nih..

he helped me write the appologizing letter to the dean..and hopefully will be setteled by next week insyaAllah..

lesson learned today: always have good thoughts of others. akh AKAD used to say that we must have atleast 70 good reasons for someone. if you have all 70, the 71 will likely be ok for us to think bad of one else. nevertheless, always usnudzon!

here's some eye pleasure. after meeting the lecturer and setteling my grade, i went to mines wonderland and did some little filming. not much as the camera broke down. enjoy.

  

BAGAIMANA PULA CITA2 KU?

today i had the chance to follow abi and hear his talk to some elders in a 'PROGRAM MOTIVASI WARGA EMAS' near Sg. Congkak. presicely at Nur Lembah Pangsun, just after Sg. Congkak, quite a nice place, maybe could hold a parkour camp there some day ^_^

well, i didnt really got the topic of abi's talk, but summerising it, its about how we live life as muslims. and the entire talk was basically around 'where we came and to where we're going' idea. this he took the confucius philosophy where they say that life is between 'not knowing' and 'cant remember'.."where were you from/how were you born?" hmmm, can't remember. "where are you heading after death?" hmmm, don't know..perhaps don't care!?
if we master these questions, our lives are much meaningfull as we have a starting point and we know where to end. these are answered clearly in the Quran and Hadiths. the Quran even stated the human developement in the womb scientifically way years before modern scientist knew it. thus, to what reason do I neglect this understanding!? dont i claim im in faith of Allah?

years i've shared this in usrah, 'we decide!'..'hidayah is given to each and everyone, but what makes it different between the believers and non-believers? is the choice that they make, the choice we make'. but to where do i stand in my own preachings? to where does my decision takes me..its not like 'pika-chu! i choose you!', but rather HELL or HEAVEN. owh Lord, do protect me from the wrong doings i've done. guide me into doing the right things. lead me to You.

i'm a believer..but am i a strong believer?

abi shared the story during the Khandak War or also known as Al-Ahzab..the war where Prophet Muhammad pbuh with the early believers dug trenches around Madinah to face the whole arab jazirah. during the digging process, sahabats came with a big boulder in the middle of the dug out trench, unable to break it down, they called the Prophet in favour of help. Prophet Muhammad hit the boulder 3 times. the first hit gave out a white colour light, where he was seen with palaces of Persia. the second hit gave a red light which was pictured with palaces of Rome and the last one was a light that lit the whole universe. (it was also believed that those red/white colour where the reason why most of nusantara countries have flags baring those colours, including some politic parties like the original PAS flag and UMNO). during this event, come out the hadith promising that Persia and Rome will be defeated by islam.
being out numbers, materially uneven and surrounded..yet given a hope of truth that islam will have its rise.
us, being in this situation, we may as well ask when! typically a clear indication of weak faith in Ar-Rasul's words. but them, the sahabats, eagerly asked which one would fall first!

thus replied 'the empire of constantine'..

upon hearing this, the sahabats dreamnt of leading the invasion army into constantine. yet, after umar al-khattab, kilafah ummaiyah, khilafah abbasiah. the city stood tall. till then came along Muahammad Al-Fatih who opened the city. after the war, he gathered all his men.standing.

"for those who has missed his fardhu prayers even once..sit down"

it was also recorded that a hadith said that constantine will fall into the hands of a soleh army lead by the most soleh of them all. and it was true. Persia had its down fall. so true of what Ar-Rasul once said. Rome? some said that Rome is still yet to fall. the power of the west. the vatican.

and where do stand to believe its down fall? to what extend do my efforts go into the promise given by the Prophet?

Palestine..too has been honoured the promise of victory. to where does my effort go into the promise given? its no 'cakap kosong'..it will happen! and yet, i choose to where i stand. a by-stander or the one who gives his life into the efforts of freeing Al-Aqsa?

parkour? what has this helped towards reviving islam? maybe my dreams are too big..or am i not strong enough to full fill this role?

azam, irsyad, amir, ammar, amirul, siddiq, acap, abudi, amin, budak2 hira', budak2 hidayah johor..and soooo many others..what have i lead them to? being strong myself isnt good enough. i must strenghten others. and iman comes first. not physical.

"those good during their jahiliyah, will be good as muslims"..thus Allah, make this turning point. give me the chance of being a better muslim, and make me take it. grant me khusyuk in my prayers, strengthen my takwa towards You. give me strength to overcome the obstacles of live, just like You gave me phisically.

make me live a muslim, die a muslim.

"manusia,
lahirnya disambut bang,
matinya dilepaskan solat,
antara bang dan solat,
alahai hidup, alangkah singkat"

in this short life..how much have i given for islam? how much have i ambitioned the promises of Ar-Rasul and You? questions never seem to be answered each time i review them...

usrah 12

hahaha..planning to post next week but got interested just now, so didnt want to hesitate..i'm eventually putting 'fa' to practice..^_^

had an usrah session just now with akh Riza at his house in UNITEN. it was raining heavily but 6 of us managed to make it, but i got there after the tadarus session.hohoho..bilal, asrol, uqasyah, ali and syafiq..

alhamduliLlah, the tafsir was on surah ad-Dhuha..many interesting points discussed, but the main event was still yet to come..as akh Riza brought front Fiqh Dakwah by Al-Marhum Syeikh Mustafa Masyhur he opened up

"TEGAKKAN KELUARGA MUSLIM"

wow! i thought i was way too young for the topic..like it should be discussed in module 7 or sumthing and i'm currently in 5-6..

nevertheless, akh Riza persuaded that it was time for the topic. during the discussion, there were afew jokes i didnt understand..hahahaha..wonder why? memang sah belum sampai masa aku~

nyw, foundation of an islamic family institution starts with good individual muslims..which will then bring effects to the community hopefully building a muslim society..

1st step into building an islamic family would be finding the right couple. a hadith stated that amongst the criteria for a wife, one should look into her family background, wealth, looks and her deen (religion). and the deen is the one should be 1st priority..

the couple should be one who'll support the duty of a daie, also a daie her self..'sefikrah' will help this agenda even though mixed marriage (between different jamaahs..hahaha) is ok.'sefikrah' doesnt really mean same jamaah but rather both have same objectives and are willing to do whats needed to gain that objective.

the story of As-Syahid Imam Hassan Al-Banna took us into perspective where once his son was seriously ill. but he had a talk to deliver. as he was about to departure from his house, his wife asked what will she do if the son dies (or sumthing like that)..As-Syahid replied, "his grandfather will know where to bury his body".

2nd things is that in building a family, one should always realize that its not about breeding! for those who understand the responsibility of reviving the Khilafah System should always be objective oriented as quoted from ustaz Salam. thus, 'menjaga kemandirian spesis' or 'naluri kemanusiaan' is nothing to be compared to building future generation of daies who'll continue to revive the system once ruled 2/3 of the world.

take the 1st hadith of 'matan arbain' (hadith 40), on niat or intention.."..those who perform hijrah for the sake of Allah and His messenger will gain Allah's blessings, but for those who perform hijrah for the sake of dunia (world) will get only that.."

really up to us to decide..

3rd point would be to be helpfull towards each other. be supportive. urge good doings. (see..my lazy mood is on..suddenly..hahaha)

all in all..benefited from tonights session very much indeed.
'islamic family institution'..i'm in one..but will i build one? or 2? or 4? hmmmmm~

Daurah Penggerak IPTDHL

fuh, alhamduliLlah..finished my final 2nd year exam last thursday. its a good feeling to be back writing on this blog after all the chaos happening since earlier this semester with elected as vice president of rowing club, ajk MPP, SERIKANDI 2008 and the struggle to gain back my 3pointer..

i read at some webpage quoting "if Allah brings you to it, He'll take you through it"..thus insyaAllah, i do pray i can get back my scholarship next semester.just to lessen the burden my family's shouldering and spend it more on my madu's.

so, to celebrate..celebrate? boleh laa..i attended a daurah session with syafiq. earlier on, i wanted to bring along gg and mel but wasnt the right module yet! so till next time aight guys.

on the way, syafiq messaged akh Riza, my naqib, informing that we were on our way to the program not knowing that he was actually the speaker.later on that program, he told that he was away to China since last thursday (which i didnt know, sebab ponteng usrah~hoho..tak ah, busy study) and only managed to send sms'es abroad with only 6sens.so in the end, only Bilal got the news of the program, while Syafiq and me through akh Aizuddin. frankly speaking, thats how Allah plans His servant's journey..

upon our arrival at Masjid UKM, we met akh AKAD who was performing his tahiyatul masjid and dhuha prayers. very dedicated and istiqamah with his ibadah. and i could strongly say that he's one of those who walks their talks even though with a little disadvantage since his brain surgery last 8 years or so.

the morning session was on Dakwah Fardhiyah and Ciri2 Daie..Dakwah Fardhiyah was discussed based on As-Syahid Syeikh Mustafa Masyhur's writing. amongst the points taken were;

1. TAARUF.berupaya membina hubungan yang baik dan akrab dengan madu'. hmmm..been doing this but so little outcomes. but i'm greatful for the ones that stick. after this, must make this one a big priority so the ones that stick will stick forever! i'd like to share one of my practice with juniors, is that i give them my used text books..lend them my notes, which had to be returned to me at the end of the semester..and also find 2nd hand books for them. in certain way, they feel much appriciated.

2. BANGKITKAN IMAN. not only we hang out together, but i do need to inject them with curiosity on the situation the ummah is in. akh Riza shared the idea of throwing rethorical question like when we join them to eat, we ask a question to trigger the mind like "ape ek orang palestine sekarang tengah makan?"..

akh Riza also quoted a verse form the Quran, surah Muddathir: "wahai orang yang berselimut, bangunlah dan berilah peringatan". this was related to the Ikhwanul Muslimeen who raised their awareness and pioneereed the call to regain back the khilafah system. it only took them 4 years. (1924 the down fall of khilafah - 1928 the uprise of IM)

Ustaz Salam shared a tafsir of the 2nd ayah where the word 'fa' was used to bring the meaning of 'and' between 'bangunlah/awaken' and 'berilah peringatan/give preachings of the truth'. those who are quite familiar with common arab languang would use 'wa' to give the same meaning. but according to tafsir, 'fa' was to mean 'directly after without any hesitation or delay'..hummm, wonder how much time i took to just wake up..and get myself started?

3. BAIKI KEADAAN DENGAN SIBGHATULLAH. atleast the minimum of islam. halal-haram settle..yep, i noticed this since many of my madu' dont really care about their aurats. well atleast they pray, right!

4. IBADAH SYAMIL. sharing the understanding that ibadah isnt only things ritual related, or performed only at mosques..but everything done with the intention of gaining Allah's blessings are ibadah. let us try little by little.. chot, a house mate, took the initiative of sticking up mutabaah amal forms for each person of the house. yeah we ticked it inconsistently but it showed progress.
"berbondong-bondong jadi gunung,
perlahan-lahan jadi gunung Tahan" said akh AKAD that day.
